THE TOP 10 RESTAURANTS ON BONAIRE
Bonaire really has an awful lot of good and beautifully located restaurants. Much more than we expected. When we came on Bonaire we were able to have lunch and dinner at a different place almost every day and there are still restaurants on our wish list that we haven't visited yet. You can make dining out on Bonaire as luxurious and special as you want and the choice in different types of restaurants is huge so the gourmets among us can go crazy!
Bonaire is the quietest of the ABC islands and has a friendly, village feel. It is one of the insanely beautiful Caribbean islands and is known for its fantastic underwater world and stunning beaches. In addition, for the active, there really is more than enough to do on and around the island.
OCEAN OASIS
Ocean Oasis is a place where you have to go for lunch anyway. This Beach Club is right on the beach, you can get good food and there is a wonderful vibe! We had several meals and drinks here. We liked the salads as well as the sandwiches. We found the service very variable. They work with a lot of interns and you notice that.
Another nice advantage is that you can also rent lounge beds and cabanas to chill by the sea for a day or part of the day. You can book these on location and online.
SEBASTIAN'S BEACH
Our favorite! Reserve a table around 6 p.m. and watch the beautiful sunset from your table. Be sure to reserve a table on time because it is a popular restaurant. The food, service and setting is really fantastic. On Sundays they have Italian night and it seems that you can eat some of the best pizza in Bonaire for a competitive price here.
THE DOCK
A wonderful seafood restaurant where you can sit cozily on a small harbor. We ate fresh tuna here that was perfectly prepared. No reason not to recommend this restaurant to you! The Dock is located at the Ocean Breeze Boutique Hotel & Marina and is open daily.
CAPRICCIO
Capriccio is a good Italian restaurant in Kralendijk with excellent food, perfect service and beautiful view of the sea. Do you like Italian food? Then you really have to eat here. Especially inside you sit very cozy, outside there are only a few tables and you sit on a relatively busy road. If we have to mention a disadvantage, it is that you sit outside a little less cozy because of that road. Other than that, nothing to complain about!
LA CANTINA
At La Cantina you will find a unique setting. At the front you will find a beer pub The Brewery and at the back in a beautiful courtyard garden the restaurant La Cantina. For both lunch and dinner you can eat out here really well and cozy. When we were there, we had to wait quite a long time but the food was really good.
IT RAINS FISHES
It Rains Fishes, the name says it all - a delicious seafood restaurant where they catch fresh fish daily, where you can dine with a sea view and where they serve delicious cocktails. We ended our vacation at It Rains Fishes and paid a fixed price of $37 for a 3-course menu.
CHEFS BONAIRE
At Chefs Bonaire, friends Han and Mark cook to the stars. They serve high quality in a 5-course surprise menu with optional matching wines. Chefs Bonaire is definitely one of the best restaurants on the island! Chefs is located at the Bamboo Bonaire Boutique Resort.
BRASS BOER
Brass Boer is a very culinary restaurant located at the Delfins Beach Resort, where we stayed overnight. There is no arguing about the food and the beautiful view. Book the 5-course menu and be surprised. Brass Boer is really a top spot on Bonaire, although more expensive than average. By the way, in the sea is the beautiful 'table 14' as the central centerpiece so if you want to make the unique night out even more beautiful I recommend booking this table.
CUBA COMPAGNIE
Cuba Compagnie is located on the boulevard of Kralendijk so that makes the restaurant perfect to combine with a day of shopping in Kralendijk. Perfect for a quick Cuban bite, which is heartily fine, but I would recommend Cuba Compagnie even more for a nightcap because the atmosphere here is incredibly good!
FOODIES
Enjoy the beautiful view of Lac bay and Sorobon and be surprised by the friendly staff and the versatile menu. At foodies you can enjoy a huge variety of dishes, meat, fish and vegetarian there is something for everyone on the menu. Discover it for yourself and come have lunch, dinner or a drink.
